How has technology changed your job?

Microsoft Word and a keyboard.

Whether for better or worse — we must ride the waves of technological advances to stay ahead of our peers and competition. If not — our reach would remain more personal and niche.

I do have a soft spot for taking written notes and the sound of a typewriter clacking. I have since fulfilled my desire for a typewriter by purchasing a clacky mechanical keyboard that replicates the sound.

The digital age has proven to be very beneficial for smaller authors like me. It has given many of us the opportunity to publish despite our financial situations. I am thankful for the advances in technology even if it means no clacking keys and scratching quills.
