What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

people with disabilities were all cognitively disabled and in some way lacked something that fulfilled their humanity. They looked like lost souls wandering a world they were not welcomed in.

Karma has no part in this. I was wrong. Ironically wrong as I’m disabled and use a wheelchair. No longer do I judge a person by their outward appearance or perceived disability.

Having taking a stroll in their wheelchair, I know how difficult it is to live in a world not made for us. It’s 2023 – we’re still struggling with 1980’s pre-ADA implementations.
